A great room built around the wood stove.

The open floor plan centers on a wood-burning fireplace. Cathedral ceilings run the full height of the A-frame, with windows that pull the forest inside. Guests bring their own firewood, and central heating covers the rest.

The kitchen opens onto the same room, so whoever is cooking stays with the group.

Questions, answered.

How far is Stratton Mountain?

About ten minutes by car. On the slopes in under fifteen minutes door-to-door.

How much do I save booking direct?

Most guests save 10 to 15 percent by avoiding platform service fees. Same home, same hosts, lower total cost.

How many people can the house sleep?

Ten guests across four bedrooms: a king master suite, a king loft, a queen bedroom, and a bunk room with four twins.

Is the loft bedroom closed off?

The loft is the fourth bedroom. It has the second king bed and its own half bath, and it looks out over the great room below rather than sitting behind a door. Couples and older kids tend to take it, and the three main-floor bedrooms are fully enclosed.

Are pets or smoking allowed?

No pets and no smoking inside, anywhere on the property.

Is the house good for remote work?

Yes. The upstairs loft has a standing desk, an external monitor, and 1 Gbps fiber. Take calls from the living room while the rest of your group hits the slopes.

Is the hot tub private?

Yes. The hot tub is on the back deck with tree cover on all sides, and it is heated year-round.

Do I need to bring firewood?

Yes. The wood stove is yours to use and guests bring their own firewood. Central heating keeps the house warm either way, so the stove is for the evening rather than a necessity.

Do you have an EV charger?

Yes. A Level 2 charger in the driveway, so your car is topped off by morning. Bring your own cable.

Is there a security deposit?

Yes. A $300 refundable security deposit is taken at booking, when you sign the rental agreement. It is returned five days after checkout.

What's the cancellation policy?

Full refund if you cancel more than 30 days before check-in. Your booking confirmation carries the specific terms.
